welcome to the first entry of my diary.
each year i buy a diary and aim to write in all about my day to day life, as of yet it tends to get filled with my work shifts, when im seeing my fiance and things ive already done (i fill it in anyway even though its not there as a reminder but more of a page filler so my social calender looks full).
I thought if i start now its already in place so my new year resolution actually gets done, but does that mean i will have to have a new one?
Actually i wish id started this a few weeks ago as i was really busy with work, the youth club i do, choir practice and general mishaps, now i dont know what to put in as its all got quiet now till january oh well i will give u a recap of intresting moments of the last year….
THE CD
my church this time last year produced a cd where i got to sing a solo on which was very cool
HOUSE MOVE
house mate of nearly 3 years got married so i had to move back to parents house, on the same day i moved i got to meet a wonderful man off ship of fools in town for a drink and we ended up getting on so well we move nicely onto my third item….
ENGAGEMENT
in july this year he took me to oxford and proposed, it was a very lovely day and we plan to marry sept 18th 2004
JOB MOVE
well its still for same company but now i work in a different store which is easier to get to from home and i enjoy it a lot more than the old one although i do miss the staff as id been there five years and we all got on really well but i did need the change as id been there since it opened so was like the ken barlow of the store ( not boring before you ask i mean like ken i was the only origional person there ) anyway….
this new store i get to use my manager skills better and its good (note to self must not waffle ) lol
well thats about it really i hope you will enjoy reading my diary and id like to say i will post when anything exciting happens but you may never hear from me again so im afraid you get my daily waffle of nothing in particular which i suppose is ok and atleast i will enjoy it haha

please excuse the most boring title ever but i couldnt think of anything else to put.
Not much happened today boss gave me a lift to work, my district manager turned up out the blue but for once we have a nice one (i like him as he allowed me to book holiday over easter even though its not allowed so i can go on holiday with james and his family). I managed to finish work early aswell and got another lift home from my boss, she really is lovely, another reason why i like this store better 
tonight i had two things booked for same night; christmas meal with old store or house group party. being the good christian girl that i am i chose housegroup over a boozy night out in wolverhampton. Got home just after 5pm feeling tired and fell asleep on sofa so decided to not go to housegroup and to put pjs on and eat a large bag of chips that have so kindly been brought for me by my dad.he couldnt be bothered to cook as he has bad cold at mo (hope i dont get it off him).
So once chips are eaten i have a night planned of tv (very exciting) which includes scrubs and a very cheesy christmas movie so nite all and will carry on this exciting saga tomorrow

Yes its true i may have had a nice relaxing week but now im at work till christmas day and ive got the three busiest evening shifts to run plus christmas eve, although we do finish early on christmas eve hoorah, then back in boxing day to do a double shift. I was origionally working monday day next week but ive swapped it to the evening so i get sunday off so when James comes down on friday i get to spend more time with him.
He is going shopping for my pressies today which is very exciting, i tried to coax out of him what i was getting but it didnt work, i know the one thing as i was there when he brought it and another one of the gifts arrived in the post early so i opened it not realising it was a christmas gift (honest) things he has got so far are really nice, he is actually very good at gifts, for my birthday which was last week he got me some very nice gifts which was one of those grey bears (which id been hinting at for ages) my own set of keys for his place and he also took me out for a nice meal. how cool is that?
Anyway its now 2.30 and ive got to get ready for work so bye for now xx
oh by the way the cheesy christmas film i said i was going to watch was really good its called “if you believe” incase you want to watch it…

hello to u all (well im assuming all, this could only be read by a mere few, and to you i am grateful)
Anyway, Today im off to work again in a bit, sale starts tomorrow so after we close tonight we have got to spend a couple of hours atleast getting everything repriced and hang the banners telling people there is indead a sale going on. I expecting to get home by about 12ish aarrrggghh. So as im at work at 3pm my traditional sunday lunch consists of potato wedges and cheese & onion quiche (i dont like quiche with meat in so this one is my favourite).As much as i like this meal it doesnt feel right not have my meat, potatoes and veg on a sunday although in the next few days im sure ill be sick of it and will look forward to simple meals like egg and chips yum yum.
So now im off to eat lunch and then get ready for work so bye for now

Well actually i do quite like mondays but this one im not that fond of. last night after getting sale stuff ready we finally got out at 12.45am after giving up on bendy window banners that refused to stay up. Tonight promises to be a manic monday (how many songs can i get in this log entry? , im guessing 2 as i cant think of anymore, let me know of any others) as its the last monday till after christmas and also its the sale, i expect people to be rushing in to get last minute pressies to be a bit miffed at what they brought yesturday at full price is now half price untill they realise what they got at BOGOF- bye one get one free; they now get 2 at half price which is the same,bit silly really. So at 2pm i will be starting work hoorah!!!!!

Good evening. last night was a long shift got home about 10.30 thinking id have my uniform to iron but no hoorah my tea was cooked and my mom had lovingly stood and ironed my work tops, which was a big relief.
Today was a manic day met my friend for a quick drink and exchanged gifts, each year we get eachother a cd. I got her the new U2 one and she has got me Stevie Wonders greatest hits, which im looking forward to listening to. I lost track of time and realised i had 10 mins to get to work which is only a 2 min walk but first i had to pop to shop to get extra pressie for my mom off my dad, got into work for 1.10pm but was ok as it was quiet. Infact the whole shift was quiet and it really dragged, but by 7.30 i was home and i am now in my pjs ready for the festivities to begin, so night all and hope you all have a merry christmas xxx

Hope you all had a wonderful christmas. We decided to not put computer on yesturday and had a nice relaxing day watching tv etc instead.

So on the whole i think ive done really well and im really pleased and thankful of the gifts i have received
Got home today after a 10hour shift to have another christmas dinner Yum yum and bless her, my mom had again ironed my work tops. I had planned to do them honest im not lazy.
Tomorrow james gets here around 2ish so after ive met my friend jonathan for lunch; james will either meet me in town or i will go straight to his parents. I always miss him when we are apart but i seem to have more this time. I think its because over oct/nov i had lots of holiday to use up and we seemed to see eachother all the time which was really nice, he is here till new years eve then i travel up after work on the 31st and then im in London will the evening of the 2nd jan.
Anyway thats all for today ill let you know what presents i got off james, i get to meet some more of his relations as im going to his parents for tea xxx

today i was meant to meet my friend jonathan for lunch but he is unwell so that was cancelled and james was due to arrive at about 2ish but his coach was cancelled so he didnt arrive untill after 5pm 
so i hit the shops. i had to take my moms jumper back as she didnt really like it and i ended up getting a different one plus an extra one just in case plus two new tops and a new pair of jeans for myself, they are exactly the same as my other 2 pairs but they had £5 off and are so comfy i decided you can never have enough pairs of comfy jeans (james comments that they arnt really jeans as they are the stretchy kind but they have pockets, a zip and are made from stretchy denim so they are infact jeans).
I also got a sim card for my moms phone as id lent hers but then i got a new phone (minus sim card) which im still using so i owed her a new one. Also i popped into Debenhams to get my friend a housewarming gift and managed to pick up a couple of other things which are to be used for the forthcoming wedding which id planned to buy and i got them half price hoorah. Then i popped to willets to get a blow up pillow for when i go to New Wine in August with james and his church ( a girl needs her comforts) and then i finished off at boots and got some toiletries. So a busy bag laden day was had.
Tonight i had a wonderfull tea at james’s mom and dads and i got to meet his aunty and her husband which was good. Got home at 11pm, did the online jigsaw (sad i know) and now im off to bed as ive got work in the morning then im off to see LOTR 2 with james and then we are going back to his parents so we can open our christmas pressies as we didnt have chance tonight (how long does a girl have to wait?), so nite all xxx

Not that im obsessed or anything haha
Saturday i had to work during the day but that evening. i arrived at james’s parents late so we had tea then we were due at cinema at 8.20 so we didnt have time to open pressies. We went to see LOTR2, he loved it, i thought it was ok. I wasnt happy that they have stopped selling haagen daz cookies but settled for rum and raisin fudge instead.
Sunday we met up with a couple of my friends for lunch then we found out there wasnt an evening service at my church so we went back to james’s parents to open presents (a makeup brush set of his folks, a wooden nik-naks turny drawer thing off his sister and husband and off james i got a mike gayle book, an old fashioned advert calender and the letter in a bottle with wonderful note inside) i was really pleased with what id got. They are all very nice things. We then went to parents house where my nephew also was, to have a wonderful bouffet(spelling) then it was an evening of board games that my nephew had been brought for christmas by my parents. I won the first game of frustration but then came last in the second. My 9 year old nephew won all games of connect four we played and james lost all games of draughts he played against my mom.
Today i have to be at work for 3pm so james and i (how many times do i mention his name lol) are going to the art gallery then to lunch.
Tomorrow after work im off to London for new year. Hope you all have a wonderful new year whatever your planning to do. xxx

Happy new year to you all.
I havnt posted in the last few days due to being in London, we spent new year in James’s local and had a fantastic time and although no alcohol touched my lips as im taking antibiotics at mo i managed to sing in the kareoke. I sang Crazy by Patsy Cline. New years day we went to James’s friends for breakfast, watched spiderman on dvd and just slobbed out until i came back home late last night. Im back at work today so nothing else really to report so bye for now xx
