Blimey!!!!

Its been nearly two weeks since my last post. I hadnt realised it was that long. Hmmmmm so what have i been up to?
I have actually made it to church two sundays in a row, which considering how things have been, its a miracle. I had two sundays off in a row, so thought i would make the most of it. I also made it to housegroup which was really nice and when i got home, JT was sitting at my computer as he had arrived not long before i got in. On the friday we popped into town as i had to take a top back, we then went out for a really nice lunch and then we did the weekly shop for my mom and dad. In the evening we were meeting some of my friends for a drink in town.
Last week when i was in charge it seemed to go quite smoothly, apart from when i popped in on my day off, to find all the power had gone off in town and the shop was in darkness. It came on soon after though and once id contacted my district manager and rebooted the computers it was ok.
This week as been ok. Wednesday was horrible though as i had to start work at 3pm and i was there until 2am as it was time for the retail inventory. The boss was busy doing appraisals in the day so i had to lead the inventory. It was a bit scary but it seemed to go ok. I was then back in work at 9am on the thursday morning so i was a bit tired. I had my appraisal on the tuesday and that also went well.
I have also booked my driving test. The earliest i could get one was for 26th may. So a couple of months away, but it also gives me the chance to get some savings sorted.
Today i worked the evening shift and after work i met my dad at the hotel he was having his cricket meal at. I would have had to get a taxi home which would have cost me about £8. so instead i got a taxi to the hotel for £3, had a couple of drinks and then got a lift home.
Tomorrow im off to see JT. In the evening we are at a engagement party in York and then staying at his parents house. On the sunday evening i will be going to his church and then i travel back home sunday night :-(

Lovely weekend!!!!!!!!

Friday day i helped mom round the house and i also had to sort out wrapping JTs pressies. The paper i painted was quite thick, so i ended up using the paper to make a gift bag. It actually came out really well and i even used ribbon for the handles :-) ok thats enough showing off hee hee.
My nephew arrived about 6.30 and then JT arrived at 8pm ish. They both seemed to get on really well and we had a really nice evening in. Saturday was going to be a manic day so i managed to pursuade JT that we needed to swap pressies once it had got past midnight ;-) I did agree to open our cards on the saturday though.
This is what we got eachother.
My pressies- A oil burner with a rose sented oil.
A small dog teddy with stringy legs ( very cute) at the moment its on my mirror in my room, but
when i hopefully pass my driving test, it will go in my first car.
He also made me a huge chocolate brownie which he cut out into a heart shape (awwwwww)
JTs pressies- As he loves baking i got him some cheesy heart shaped cookie cutters :-)
Also he really likes the Dilbert cartoons, so i printed out some of the three window cartoons and
put then in frames. I even put them on a blue backing as blue is his fave colour. I really hoped he
liked them.
He even remembered that i like blue nose bears, so that is what my card was of. He really is a sweety.

Saturday morning we had to get up early as we were going out for the day with my dad and nephew. It was a really nice day and then in the evening we went to Sophia’s a wonderful italian restaurant. We nearly didnt get in though. Usually you arnt allowed to book as its so popular, but when we got there we found out i could have booked for valentines. The wait was about an hour, so we decided to have a look for somewhere else, but they were also busy, so we went back to Sophia’s. We thought we would have to wait for ages, but we were seated within about 40mins, so that was brilliant and the meal was lovely.

Sunday morning we went to my church and then we were meeting my brother and his girlfriend for lunch. After that we popped to Ikea and then came back to my parents house. After about half an hour he had to go home
:-( It has been a really nice weekend and even if there was no pressies involved i was so glad that he was here, as that is more important than what we buy eachother. I will be seeing him again on thursday evening so thats good news.

Im back at work tomorrow morning at 8am. This week as gone really quick. Its going to be a manic week as my boss is on holiday so i am completely in charge at work. The last time she was off, there was a load of extra work to get sorted. This time its our fundraising week and also half term for the schools. I really hope things run smoothly and nothing too major happens.

A very big YEYYYYY is in order!!!!

Fantastic day Wednesday. My driving lesson went well and then i headed off into Brum. People think because of my accent that i am a Brummie, but where i live is classed as the Black Country. You can get to Brum in the car from my house in about 30mins depending on traffic. However if you catch the bus or buZ as we tend to say it, then it takes alot longer. To get to walsall from my house takes about 20mins and then its another buZ into Brum which takes about 40mins. I could get the train but the buzes are every couple of minutes, so i can already be about 20mins into my journey before the first train arrives.
Anyway tangent over. I get into Brum and head for Rackhams where i am meeting my friend. We then have a quick look in a wonderful shop called ‘Past times’ For £12 i end up with 2 books (one on vintage clothing and another one called games for the garden) and a minature snooker table. I do buy some bizarre things. lol
We then headed off to have lunch. We went to a place that specialises in natural, healthy, good for you food. I was amazed at how much they gave us and it tasted absolutly fantastic, i will definatly be going again. We were even too full up for pudding.
We then popped into the shop that sells herbs and other natural things for the body and house. When i went into another one of these shops a couple of weeks ago with JT i ended up buying a minature mortar & pestal ( spell) set and also a fantastically small metal colander. He completly took the mic , so when i saw a minature grater i just had to buy it. hee hee
We then headed off to the Bull ring as i wanted to pop into my fave toiletry shop ‘ Molton Brown’ I ended up spending far too much and came away with three shower gels and a body moisteriser. Two of the shower gels were for my mom, so in theory i didnt spend that much. After we had pottered about a couple more shops we ended up being really naughty as we ended up in this fantastic cookie place and had a cookie each.
I then got on my bus back to Brum and then home again.
I then spent another evening revising for my theory test. by about 3am i finally completed all 863 questions. It was well worth it though, as i am so pleased to tell you, I PASSED yeyyyyyyyyyyyyy
My dad had took me to the test centre and waited for me, so once i was done, we then popped to IKEA.
This evening i have been on the computer, and i also got JTs valentines pressie ready. I will tell you what i ended up getting him after saturday, incase he reads this before he arrives here tomorrow evening. I can tell you though, andt im quite impressed with myself as i have made my own wrapping paper. I thought the bags etc in the shops were rather girly, so thought i would use some of my watercolour paper and paint my own design on it. I was going to attempt something that looked a bit more manly, but i didnt think painting pictures of hammers and jigsaws really summed up romance ( i may be wrong though ) anyway i ended up painting something really girly and ive told him, he has got to look suitably impressed when he sees it lol
Anyway tomorrow day i will be doing the weekly shop with dad, helping mom tidy the house and hopefully pop into town. My nephew is also staying over tomorrow night, and he is bringing his PS2 so that should be fun.

Week off!!!!

Well not quiet. i had to work monday day as the boss was off, but then i have the rest of the week off from work, which is rather lovely.
Today i havnt really done much. I had a nice lie in, and then did my ironing. I have then spent the day pottering about on the computer. Last week i was looking online for the perfect valentines gift for JT and finally found it on ebay. I won the auction on ebay but now im busily trying to sort out my paypal stuff. hopefully it will be sorted out by tomorrow. It does mean though that it wont arrive for saturday, so ive had to think of something equally brilliant. Today i have also been doing loads of studying as i have my driving theory test on thursday. Im ok with the common sense stuff, but its all the road signs, and stopping distance things i think i will struggle with. I hope i pass as my instructor will be putting me in for my test as soon as i pass my theory.
Tomorrow i have my driving lesson between 12pm-1pm and then after that im heading off to Brum to meet a friend for lunch and then we are doing a bit of shopping. So a good day to look forward to.

Lovely weekend!!!

I had a really nice time. JT arrived about 11.30am with 2 bunches of Tulips (they are my fave flowers) and two packets of lockets :-)
We spent the first couple of hours at mine just relaxing. I even made lunch, which was Ciabatta bread with a filling of chicken, pesto and melted cheese. Unfortunatly within those first couple of hours the dog was a bit manic and managed to scratch him on the neck and when my mom went to gently tap the dog with the slipper she missed and hit JT instead ha ha ha.
After that we headed off into town and then caught the train into Brum. What should have been a 25min journey took about an hour, due to signal problems. We arrived in Brum about 5pm and went shopping in the new Bull Ring. I brought a couple of books, another scarf and pair of gloves and JT got some new jeans.
At 7.30 we headed to the pub as it was the Brum meet on Ship of Fools. It was a really nice night and got to catch up with a few folks.
Sunday morning i had to work, so after a bit of brekkie JT dropped me off at work. I managed to finish at 4pm so that was a bit of a bonus.
