A quick diet progress so far. Ive lost my first stone 
I know ive got a long way to go but each pound makes a difference.
Ok on to more exciting news. Virgin have got a sale and although i have curbed my spending habits i couldnt resist the bargains that i managed to pick up from there. For just over £20 i got a Blondie cd, the best of Leann Rimes, 5 stars greatest hits (very excited i have this one), Beach Boys love longs and for JT i got Simon and Garfunkels bridge over troubled water. An essential CD for anyones collection. Ooooh i also got a Alan Partridge video for 99p.
Ive also got back into reading over the last week or so. I either read loads or nothing at all. I picked up a wonderful book to read on the train up to see JT last week. We had a lovely 4 days which also included a day out with his parents which was really lovely to spend some time with them. We also did loads and loads of walking which although my siatica played up a bit it was really good and great exercise.
Anyway back to the book. Its called ‘P.S i love you’ Its about a woman who’s husband dies before her 30th birthday and each month he as left her an envelope to open and there is something that she has to do each month. He ends each note saying PS i love you. Its fab and lots of tear jurking moments but lots of laughs also. For our 3 month anniversary JT has brought me Mike Gayles new book. I cant wait to read it. I have been waiting for his next book for ages as he is my favourite auther.
Last sunday i got JT to finally tidy up his study and the other night he spent an hour on his webcam on msn showing me stuff from his loft as he didnt no what to do with it all. So this weekend its my turn and we are going through all my stuff to see what i can get rid of. We are hoping to do a carboot sale soon, which should be excellent fun and hopefully get a bit of extra cash to do something nice.

I keep forgetting that i havnt updated my blog so thought id give you a brief rundown on April so far.
Ive been up to see JT. It was his birthday on the 7th so on the evening of his birthday we had a really nice meal at an Italian restaurant near where he lives. We also went to the Good friday service which was good and was really nice to be at church. We even managed to make the sunday morning service at my church the week before so that was excellent.
This week we were due a visit from the big bosses at work. Last weekend my boss was off, so it was my responsibility to make sure the store looked perfect. Everything got cleaned and we even did all the status checks on products. They were due in store either wednesday or thursday but alas they never quite made it to our store. Even more annoying was that my boss had to change her shifts around as she needed to be working on both days. Her kids are off from school this week so it meant lots of re aranging for her for no reason.
Oh well, the store is looking really good now and it meant she got a long weekend off and wasnt back in store till wednesday.
Yesturday JT arrived in the evening and we had a nice relaxing evening. Today i was off so we went out for the day with my dad. We went to stockport and worchester. I brought lots of things for a picnic lunch, but the weather was really bad so we ate it in the car. It was still a really nice day though and it was so nice to spend some time together relaxing. I dont have to go into work tomorrow till 4pm so we also get tomorrow day to do stuff. At the moment we are trying to organise train tickets for our holiday in London and also a narrow boat holiday we are taking in September with my parents. So lots of brilliant things to look forward to.
Ive only got a four day week next week as i have some lieu days to take, so on thursday after work im off to see JT until Sunday evening. Im also off this sunday so im really looking forward to getting to church again and also catching up with some of my friends.
My friend Hannah is still in Uganda at the moment and ive been in contact with her also this week. She is due to be back in England by August, but she as been offered another job over there which she is not sure whether to take at the moment. She is really gifted and as an amazing oportunity to do some brilliant stuff. I hope and pray that she gets the opportunity to follow through where God wants her to be.
I also have a possible job interview coming up, which will mean lots of changes but also some brilliant oportunities.
Also this month i started my diet again and so far ive lost 10lb. JT is being really supportive and totally wonderful in helping me. Im doing this for myself but its nice to know that whatever amount i lose then he is backing me 100%. He as even tried one of my slimfasts and brought me a supply of them for when im staying at his.
