Wedding Free blog entry !!!!!!

Work is so much fun at the moment. I really love my job. I made the comment the other day while at work about how different words over the years become less and less popular to the point where its very rare that some words get used at all. I was thinking that this could start up a nice sensible chat but alas we now have a word competition going on.
We have a competition wall chart and basically myself, Mark and Alan who make the calls have to try to be the first to say a word within a conversation. Our boss another Marc picks words at random prints them out and puts that word under the chart, so we know which word we are on. (Not that we are taking it seriously at all)
The first word was CUCUMBER
Mark won this one with the following quote (paraphrased)
" So how did you feel that we kept you CUCUMBER informed during the life of the issue? "
Aparantly the woman on the phone didnt even notice. It was very impresive how Mark managed not to laugh with us all crying with laughter around him.
Second word was CHUFF
Mark won this one again with the line
"I see on the screen you have a problem with your CHUFF" to which the customer said pardon and then Mark repeated it but changed the word to Computer line.
The third word was KERMIT and im pleased to say that i won this one yeyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
my winning line was
" Did you feel that the agents were KERMIT to your problem?" She asked me to repeat and so i just said the correct word which was of course Commited(spell)

The new word is CHEWBACCA
Any ideas would be gratefully received. At present my only idea is to sneeze.

AAAHHHHHHCHHHOOOOO bacca <groan>

We do work hard honestly ;-)

Not long to go now :-)

Last weekend i went to my parents house as it was my 2nd Hen night. It was really brilliant. It was also nice to spend the last time at my parents house as a single woman without JT. Dont get me wrong i missed him like crazy but it was nice to get to spend a bit of time with my folks. For my hen night we went to a wonderful restaurant. They did however get me dressed up in white fluffy halo etc etc. Another pressie was the wedding book of calm. This is now the second book ive been given of the WBOC which is slightly bizarre as im actually really calm already. I hope im not giving off the vibe of being stressed about it all. Im not nervous at all i just cant wait for the day to arrive :-D
There have been a couple of instances where it would be easy to get stressed but i just think that the main thing of the day is marrying the man i love so if some things havnt worked how we wanted them to then just try to go with the flow where possible.
We got given a wonderful cake stand by a couple off Ship of fools, but unfortunatly the cake stand sags when the cakes are put on it. JTs mom has done a wonderful job in making it and has come up with a brilliant alternative so that is sorted :-)
The second one is that Chatsworth dont have enough tables for us for the reception so we have to order different ones. JT has found a brilliant place and it means we now get the round tables that we really hoped we could get to start with. JT is actually being so fantastic with the organising. Its him thats making this time really easy. I just hope that he isnt feeling too stressed. Its just worked out that he is more free to sort stuff than myself as i dont drive and i cant really use the work phone for personal use.
Also while at my parents i got to see the 2nd lots of wedding jewellery my mom has brought for me. The first lot were also a pressie for my 30th birthday, but once she saw my dress she decided they wouldnt match. The new stuff she brought is absolutly gorgeous and its going to look fantastic.
Both my parents have now got their outfits sorted. Dad has a new navy suit which looks brilliant and mom looks stunning in her outfit although she doesnt think so herself. JTs parents have also got their outfits sorted. Again his dad with a new suit and his mom has got a gorgeous dress which she will look really lovely in.
Last night me and JT decided to get the table layouts sorted. We thought it was going to take hours. Amazingly it look about 20mins to decide who sits on each table then another 20mins to decide where on the table they will sit. We were really impressed with ourselves and cant believe it was done so quickly. The hardest bit was deciding who to put on the bottom tables as we dont want it to look like we like those people less than others but its all sorted and hopefully everyone is happy.
Right better get back to work as my break is over now.
