Ive just had a week off which i will tell you more about next time, but i thought it was worth a blog entry to tell you about my first day back at work after a week off. As its halloween they had a plan that people had to dress up. I didnt know about it, as they knew i dont celebrate halloween so that was nice they remembered. Anyway i get into work to find my team leader Lee is dressed up as Dracula and then Pete comes in a bit later and he gets changed into his Rocky horror outfit. I got to meet my new floor boss today which was nice, he seems a nice bloke and he brought in lots of cake for us. Unfortunatly though its a Crazy frog cake.
So basically to sum up my first morning back at work. Im sitting next to Dracula and Dr Frankenfurter eating Crazy Frog cake. Who says work has to be boring hee hee

Most days are busy for me but thursdays always seem to be that little bit busier. Today i woke up after JT did his normal routine of tickling my feet and then if that fails pulling the duvet off the bed. i got out of bed about 8.20am and decided to have my breakfast first and quickly hoover the stairs before jumping in the shower. Yesturday i managed to clean all downstairs so i only now have to clean the bedrooms and bathroom ready for the weekend. i then had my driving lesson. He was meant to arrive at 9.30 but he didnt arrive until 9.45 as he got the times wrong, but that wasnt too bad as i only had to pay really for the normal hour lesson. I then quickly popped into the beauticians for my eyebrow wax. (i managed to get my hair done on tuesday, hoorah) and then jumped on the bus to get to work. im here until 7.30 and then we go straight to badminton till 9.15. i will hopefully get back home for about 9.30 where i will happily slob out for a bit with JT before heading off to bed as i have to be in work at 8am on friday so that i can finish work at 4pm. We have to be in Chesterfield for 5pm for the wedding rehearsal and then we are meeting E and Js family for a meal. Dont get me wrong im not moaning about it. I love being busy and having lots to do, it would just be nice to relax every now and then. Saying that though when i do have the chance i end up looking for things to do even then. lol.
Im sure ive already spoke about this in a previous blog entry. must be old age setting in hee hee

As you can probably guess from the title, we did get in to see the bbc comedy semi finals. It was absolutly brilliant. We were institches most of the night. They recorded 2 shows and each show had 6 acts. 12 acts of comedy for free sounds like a good deal to me. I got home about 11pm. JT was just about awake so that was nice as i hadnt had chance to see him all day.
I managed to get an hair appointment. I couldnt get in to the one by where i live, but managed to get into one in the city centre and its only a 2 min walk from work so that is brilliant. Hopefully i can get in to get my eyebrows done after work tomorrow. Im sounding like a right girly girl. Im not really i tend to only have my hair cut twice a year and i try to get my eyebrows done once a month and that is only because im too idle to do them myself and i always make a right mess of them lol
Tonight me and JT are organising what the plans are going to be when my nephew arrives on sunday. He is here until wednesday so we want to be able to do as many fun things as possible. Its going to be really great to spend all that time with him.

Over the month of October there is a comedy festival here in sunny Sheffield. Tonight after work we have tickets to the BBC comedy semi finals. They are free tickets and dont guarantee a seat so we need to get there early. If we get in it should be a great night and it will be shown on BBC 7 in the near future. All very exciting.
I do hope its not too late a night though as we were away the weekend at another wedding in Southampton, this time. It was really nice and the bride looked lovely. Im still a bit tired as it was a long weekend so not being in bed too late will be great. i must be getting old. im 31 in 2 months time 
This week is going to be really busy as there is another wedding this weekend which JT is best man for and we have people staying over the weekend. Its going to be a good week and we both have next week off as my nephew is coming to stay for a few days. That is going to be so much fun.
Im hoping this week that i will be able to get my hair cut and my eyebrows waxed. If i only get time for one of those then the eyebrows take priority as they really really need doing <blush> it only takes about 10mins but its finding a 10mins that im free while the salon is open.
Anyway id better head off. i have a few things to do at work before we head off for tea and then to get to the comedy evening.

Monday night me and some of my work friends were going to badminton. We were outside and Pete was talking about the fancy dress party he is going to in a couple of weeks. For the last week or so he has insisted that he is going as one of the village people (think YMCA), but had now decided to go as something else. He was talking about the outfit and saying he needed stockings and a corsett. For some reason when he said stockings i had brown tights in my head and when he said corsett i then had brown leotard. Anyway with this in my head i asked him, why he wanted to go to the party as a giant sausage, to which he replied " I want to go as Dr Frankenfurter not a Frankfurter. Hence why i thought he needed brown tights and a brown leotard

It was really wierd last weekend. I did lots of great stuff, but JT was away for the weekend so that side of things was really horrible. Thursday JT went away on a stag weekend and wasnt due back till sunday. In our usual daft way we kept trying to hide stuff in eachothers belongings which was quite successful on both sides
Thursday i was working till 8pm then we were all off to the comedy club again. Another excellent night and folks ended up staying at mine. Friday after work i had a nice relaxing evening in and then on saturday it was Emmas Hen night. We went to Nottingham for a meal and then we went to the theatre to see Magic of the Musicals. Really good night we all really enjoyed it. Emma really likes tigger so earlier in the week me and JT and made tigger underwear for her and Jason to where on their Stag or Hen night. We even made the tail bouncy, we never knew we were so artistic
It was nice a great weekend but i was so pleased when JT arrived home on Sunday i had really missed him and it was nice to have him back at home.
